Local Missions

Local Mission activities to help B3 Church reach out into our community. Please contact B3 Church at 859-384-1717 to get more information on any of these missions.

  • AWANA

AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15).  AWANA is committed to evangelism and the discipleship of children and youth.  Discipling our children is perhaps one of the most important things we can do for this generation as they are the future of the church.  Consider the statistics that only nine percent of Christian youth and one third of born again adults believe in absolute truth.  George Barna warns, “The church must focus on children and children’s ministry.  We have virtually lost a generation, we cannot afford to lose another one.”  AWANA is dedicated to getting as much of God’s word as deep into the hearts of as many children as possible so that they can be the next generation to proclaim God’s truths.

Join us Wednesday evenings (September thru April) at 6:45pm-8:05pm at B3 in the ROC (part of Family nights) to memorize scripture, participate in periodic mission projects and have a lot of fun!

  • VBS (Vacation Bible School)

Our goal is for the Lord to use VBS to reach kids with The Gospel of Christ and equip them to stand on the authority of God’s Word.  Each year, we present the Truth of Scripture with creative and exciting themes to engage kids with Christ. We offer classes from preschool to 7th grade including games, music, drama, crafts, and relevant Bible lessons.

VBS is usually in June or July at B3.  Please sign-up and attend, bring brothers, sisters, and friends.  Adults can lead groups, games, prepare snacks, and teach.  Youth (8th grade and above) can assist if meeting training requirements. We will wrap up the week with a carnival.
