“Secure Sheep”
John 10:27 - “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
28 - and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand,
29 - “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. (NAS)
1. Salvation Is the Work of God, Not the Sheep.
John 10:28a - I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish …(NAS)
2. Not Everyone Who Claims to Believe is One of God’s Sheep.
John 10:26 - You do not believe because you are not of My sheep. (NAS)
3. God Preserves His Sheep and His Sheep Persevere.
John 10:27 - My sheep …. follow Me. (NAS)
4. When God’s Sheep Sin, they are Still Securely Held.
John 10:28b - … No one will snatch them out of My hand.
